Ted has it all: a beautiful wife, two daughters, a high-paying job. But after he is diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour he finds himself with a gun to his temple, ready to pull the trigger. That’s when the doorbell rings.
A stranger makes him a proposition: kill two deserving men before dying. The first is a criminal, and the second is, like Ted, terminally ill, and wants to die. If Ted kills these men he will then become a target himself in a kind of suicidal daisy chain—and won’t it be easier for his family if he’s a murder victim?
Excellent novel highly recommend it.

This is a perfect psychological thriller with a great plot and addictive characters. The twist in it certainly kept me turning the pages.

Ted has a beautiful wife and two daughters. When Ted is diagnosed with a brain tumour he holds a gun to his head ready to end his life. When the doorbell rings, Ted has no option but to answer. Lynch makes Ted an offer kill Edward Blaine as he is accused of killing his girlfriend and kill Wendell as he was also going to kill himself the same as Ted. was going to. Wendell knows all about it and he will be waiting for Ted. Holly, Ted’s wife has been having an affair. With all the twists I had to question here who is lying and who is telling the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It’s over to all psychological thriller lovers to read a whole lot more.
