Lauren has always known she was adopted but when a little research turns up the possibility that she was snatched from an American family as a baby, suddenly Lauren’s life seems like a sham. How can she find her biological parents? And are her adoptive parents really responsible for kidnapping her? She manages to wangle a trip across the Atlantic where she runs away to try and find the truth. But the circumstances of her disappearance are murky and Lauren’s kidnappers are still at large and willing to do anything to keep her silent…
Girl Missing paperback is the 10th anniversary edition including exclusive content. I loved this story about Lauren who finds out that she adopted and discovers that she had been snatched from her real family as a baby. Lauren and her friend take a journey from London to the USA to trace her real parents. This story is a quite tearful at times. Sophie McKenzie got the idea for this story by surfing on the net and came across a missing children’s website. I recommend reading Girl Missing and I have read Trust in Me by Sophie McKenzie that I also recommend.
