‘How long have you been sitting out here?”
‘How long have you been sitting out here?”
‘Where did you come from?’
‘I have no idea’.
East Yorkshire: Single mum Alice Lake finds a man on the beach outside her house. He has no name, no jacket, no idea what he is doing there. Against her better judgement she invites him in to her home.
But who is he. and how can she trust a man who has lost his memory?
Surrey: Twenty-one-year-old Lily Monrose has only been married for three weeks. When her new husband fails to come home from work one night she is left stranded in a new country where she knows no one. Then the police tell her that her husband never existed.
I really enjoyed reading this novel. I do enjoy Lisa Jewell books. There are certainly some thrilling moment with little twists in.  Everyone has a story. But what if you can’t remember yours? Alice finds a man sitting on the beach for a few days outside her house , no matter what the weather is like. Alice invites this stranger into her house and lets him sleep in her garden shed. ( This part in the book I didn’t think believable. Who would really just bring in a strange man into her life with children to think about and your own safety) However Lisa Jewell being the excellent writer that she is puts in a good reason why Alice has let this man into her house. He has lost his memory and can’t remember his name or anything about his life. Another part of the story a woman reports her husband missing. Readers are guided back in time where young teenagers get into a fight. Trust me I Found You holds lots of mysteries, closing the story making everything throughout come together, like you would never expect to happen . I hope you all enjoy this amazing story like I did.

  1. Glad this is good! I want to read this so bad – been sitting in my pending requests on Netgalley, the only one and I haven’t been approved yet for it which is a shame as I so want to read it! Great review x

  2. I don’t read ebooks or kindle and not sure how net galley works . I only read paperback or hardback. Keep trying for the book on net galley. It may take a while to get into it but it’s worth it.
