THE MAN WHO WATCHED WOMEN HJORTH & ROSENFELDT

A SEBASTIAN BERGMAN THRILLER

As a heatwave blazes in Stockholm, a series of women are found brutally murdered and the Criminal Investigation Department is getting nowhere. The murders bear all the hallmarks of Edward Hinde, the serial killer jailed by psychological profiler Sebastian Bergman fifteen years earlier.
Sebastian desperately needs some order in his chaotic life. The revelation that he has a daughter, Vanja, could provide this longed-for stability. But should he tell her the truth and risk destroying her life and career?
Forcing his way into the investigation, Sebastian soon learns that the murders are connected to him and that no one around him is safe. Including Vanja.
MY REVIEW
Crime novels simply do not get any better. Richard Granlund had been on a sales trip. His plane from Munich had been due to take off at 9.05a.m. He would be home in Stockholm, he could call in at the office and be home around one. Lunch with his wife Katharina, then they would spend the rest of the afternoon in the garden. That was the plan.
When Richard got home he found Katharina lying on the bed. She was lying  dead on her stomach tied up. The police found no trace of forced of entry.
A series of woman are found brutally murdered. The murders are a copy cat of serial killer Edward Hinde who was jailed by the world-famous psychologist and leading criminal profiler Sebastian Bergman fifteen years earlier.
Could jailed Edward Hinde have found a weak personality who he could control?
