TROUBLE IS MY FRIEND STEPHANIE TROMLY

Preparing to survive a typical day of being Digby’s friend wasn’t that different from preparing to survive the Apocalypse.

When Digby first shows up on her doorstep, Zoe Webster is not impressed. He’s rude, he’s smart, and he doesn’t take no for an answer. Before she knows it, Digby has dragged her into of series of hilarious and dangerous situations all related to an investigation into the kidnapping of a girl from their high school. A kidnapping that may be connected to the tragic disappearance of Digby’s own sister eight years ago.

I loved reading Trouble is my Friend. It had my laughing and being scared for Digby, Zoe and Henry. Digby’s sister, sally went missing eight years ago, feared dead. A FBI profiler told the media that in many disappearance cases, a family member was involved. Everyone at River Heights Digby was visibly freaked about Marina Jane Miller’s abduction. Digby is trouble he wants Zoe and Henry to break into break into a gynecologist office as think he has something to do with Sally and Marina Jane Miller. Mayhem lets loose in the gynecologist office. Trouble is my Friend is peppered with razor-sharp dialogue, this a romance that is decidedly unromantic, and a crime novel where catching the crook isn’t the only hook in this debut novel that you won’t forget.
