MONSTERS EMERALD FENNELL

Sometimes murder is child’s play

TWO CHILDREN YOU WOULD NEVER WANT TO MEET

The beach.

The sea.

A body.

And then another.

A girl.

A boy.

And a summer holiday unlike any other.

A twisted tale of two friends with an unsavoury interest im murder.

My review

As a twelve-year old girl mummy and daddy died in a boating accident she has to go and live with her Granny. The young girl seems to have an interest in murderers and starts reading The Murderers Who’s Who book from her Granny’s book shelf.  A woman’s body is  found washed up, then another woman and then another. The young girl makes friend’s with a young boy who is also obsessed with true crime. Like detectives the young boy and the young girl are both looking for clues to has murdered these women, they write a list of who could be next? I could picture both the young and the young boy acting like little detectives trying to work out who murdered these women.
