Danger is closer than you think

Despite the ten-year age gap and the differences in their backgrounds, Bailey was meant to be with Logan – she’s sure of it. It’s natural that they should marry as soon as they can.
But when Logan brings Bailey home to his magnificent estate on ninety wooded acres, her dreams of happily-ever-after begin to unravel. She can’t ignore the rumours about what happened to Logan’s first wife, and when a local woman goes missing, all signs point to her husband.
Has Bailey made a terrible mistake trusting Logan? What happened to his first wife? Suddenly Bailey is facing an impossible decision: should she believe what everyone is saying, or should she bet her life on the man she loves, but hardly knows?
My review
Bailey married Logan after just 14 days of knowing him. We read about women marrying men in whirlwind romances after they have barely got to know who they are marrying.
Bailey doesn’t know anything about the man she is marrying. She doesn’t know his what kind of house he lives in or his secrets. Further more she doesn’t even know anything about Logan’s family. When Bailey is taken to Logan’s magnificent estate on a ninety wooded acres can she live happy ever after?
Death seems to follow Logan. What happened to Logan’s first wife? and women have gone missing in the area, which all the evidence points to her husband. Has Bailey made a mistake trusting Logan?
This one the most page turning thriller books that I have read that keeps you guessing who murdered who, why and how.
If you enjoyed reading The First Wife by Erica Spindler, you will like The Pocket Wife by Susan H Crawford.
I hope that many readers will enjoy reading this sensational new novel The First Wife as much as I did. The First Wife by Erica Spindler was my first book that I have read by this author. I need to recap and read some of  Erica’s other novels.
