MY REVIEW

I adored every second of reading this psychological thriller. I was so totally into reading Her that I read it all in a day and a half.

Both women in the story of Her have a story to tell.

Nina recognizes pregnant Emma with her little boy. Nina remembers what Emma did to upset Nina. Now Nina has found Emma at last, now Nina has a plan.

Both women lead very different lives.

Nina has a teenage daughter and her own studio where she works as an artist painting sea views. Nina’s personality started of with very little confidence, but as an adult she found she had more confidence through painting.

While Emma with real financial anxiety, who finds it a struggle juggling house chores, caring for her new-born baby  and with child of three to keep occupied. Emma started of in life with plenty of confidence, but has gradually lost. And is thankful at the time for Nina to come to rescue.

As the two women meet through a plan of Nina’s, Emma is grateful for Nina’s help what Emma is unaware of is that Nina is a women full of menace and is planning her revenge on Emma. And Emma is unaware that they have met before many years ago.

Harriet Lane has created a psychological thriller that is chilling and very unforgettable.

I enjoyed everything in is this clever novel, the characters , the writing, and the plot. This fascinating creation all comes together at the end.

I regret not having read Alys, Always by Harriet Lane, but here I come I am completely won over by this author and I am buying Alys, Always.

For all readers out there who have not read Her, buy a copy you will not regret it.
