My review

This is the first book that I have read by Emma Forrest. I would like to read some of Emma’s other novels. I enjoyed reading Emma Forrest’s Memoir. I think that this is very brave of Emma writing about her disturbing ordeal. Emma tells the story of her memoir in the most beautiful words. It is so brave how Emma tells her story about her troubling past,of self harm, suicide attempt, love, loss death. She see’s her psychiatrist DR R for eight years, starting with weekly visits. Then fortnightly. Then monthly until the time she just went when she needed to. Then she meets her Gypsy Husband who she gives the nick name as GH. The time comes for Emma to phone her psychiatrist DR R to only hear due to a medical issue his office is closed. Emma’s world is shattered when she finds out DR R has died. Emma Forrest Your Voice In My Head is a very touching heartbreaking story. Emma is a true talented writer. I recommend Emma to all readers. Emma has written Namedropper, Thin Skin and Cherries In The Snow. Emma Forrest lives in Los Angeles and is a screen writer.
